M/s Hero Honda Motors Limited launched a Green Vendor Development Programme (GVDP) for their selected vendor which is based on sustainable development through optimum use of natural resources during manufacturing process. In other words this is a practical use of Environment Management Systems where in Nicks (India) Tools qualified for GVDP Certificate and achieved a saving of Rs. 7.4 lacs per annum.
For this achievement Nicks (India) Tools was awarded a GVDP certificate and a trophy on World Environment Day on 5 June 2009 by Chairman of M/s HHML. Photograph of Trophy, Earn Programme & Green Charter attached.
